Okay, so it is not actually a fantasy equine except to me. I went into the barn this morning and found a delightful surprise. My mare Annie, whom I didn not think would foal for another 2 weeks, had had her baby. It is an adorable little black colt with a tiny star on his forehead. I realize he looks more greyish-brown than black but that is the color black foals are born - they do not turn black till they shed out their baby coat. |
