The Clouded Unicorn (Unicornis nebulosa) is named after its distinctive markings - ellipses partially edged in black, with the insides a darker color than the background color of the pelt, and sometimes dotted with small black spots. The beautifully patterned markings of the Clouded Unicorn give this equine an uncanny ability to traverse its forest environment in an almost ghostlike fashion. |
